Xantrex Conext MPPT 60/150 Solar Charge Controller

Our 1,300W solar system includes two of these charge controllers: one for the series of four 160W rigid panels and the other for the series of four 165W Flex Max panels. Using two controllers allows each series of panels to be optimized for the solar conditions they are experiencing… and since the rigid panels are tiltable, the two series of panels can operate at their most-efficient voltage, ensuring our array is putting out the most power it can.

Dinkle DIN Rail Solar Combiner (DK10N)

This DIN rail-attached combiner block gives you a lot of flexibility when configuring the cables for your solar array. Simple to mount, it allows you to easily connect the cable(s) from your solar panels to the wires bringing that power to your solar charge controller. And with 10 pairs of attachment points, you can easily expand your system in the future. Easy-to-configure jumpers (manually trim them to the length(s) you need) allow you to join one block (with its set of wires) to another… so you can wire panels in series or parallel. Your choice!

In-Line Maxi Fuse Holder

We installed two of these in our solar array… one each in-line between a solar charge controller and our Xantrex e-GEN lithium battery.

Blue Sea Systems 30A Circuit Breaker (187 Series)

We used two of these 30A circuit breakers in our solar system. Each one was placed in-line between a set of solar panels and their dedicated solar charge controller, ensuring that any electrical anomalies would bee interrupted before reaching the controller… and giving us the ability to turn off the output from the panels if we needed to work on equipment/wiring downstream from the panels.

MC4 Assembly/Disassembly Wrenches

MC4 connectors are great for making waterproof joins in your solar cables… but they aren’t that easy to work with without a set of wrenches like these. Once you start the connection by hand, these wrenches make it MUCH easier to tighten things up and ensure no water gets in.
